The time has come for me to part ways with my silk finish KSDLX-T tenor. While I've really enjoyed owning this ukulele, I just haven't found myself having the time to play of late. I would rather see it go to a good home than sit around at my house. It includes a Pono/Ko'olau hard case that fits it perfectly. There is a small scratch on the headstock that can be seen in the picture of it. It is less noticeable in person, but I wanted to make sure it stood out in the photo. I'm looking for $OLD in the CON US.

Last I've seen these are $1,700.00 new at HMS. This is a great deal.

I own the same model and absolutely love mine!
 
Is the silk finish a Matt finish? The current ones in the HMS ad are a gloss, correct? I'm wondering if silk or Matt finish are more open sounding that the gloss or pretty much the same sounding. I like spruce top ukuleles and been watching this model for awhile. Prices went way up over last year. Any chance you have a sound sample of actual ukulele. Thanks
