Anyone know the name of the song at 1:08 in this video? I believe it was originally done by REM. IMO, a nice progression, would love to learn it. Also, is this pretty much a typical concert Flea tone? Sounds loud and jangly to me, I like it.

Yeah. This isn't R.E.M. It's the Gary Jules cover version of the Tears for Fears song "Mad World".

Yes, Fleas and Flukes tend to have a loud, bright sound. The plastic bowl of the instrument is very resonant.

Oh thanks, but it sounds like a song Brian Stipe would sing. The lyrics are rather depressing though. I guess all songs can't be hula happy.
