Strange Faces?

I don't think I make faces, but I do notice that I tend to forget to breathe.
Maybe I'm holding my breath because my playing stinks? :)
 
I tend to make strange faces when I hear others play. ;)
 
Some time ago in a uke group I was wrongly accused of making faces at others who were playing the wrong notes or chords... truth is, I was making faces *at myself* and the awful sounds I accidentally produced!

I sometimes forget to breath too. A glass of wine before play fixes that.
I have all the quirks.
Remind me why I love to play?
 
I noticed it in a video of me sight reading a piece I only played a few times. I move my jaw a lot. I've noticed it in other videos but I thought I was just mouthing the lyrics. This last piece didn't have any lyrics so that theory was blown.
