Saw this one on GC, seems like a good price at $349.00. Do you agree, and has anyone played one of these, what did you think? Don't see many used Kamaka concerts around, especially 12 frets to body, it makes that neck look very short! Is this an unusual/rare model?

Most Kamaka concerts have 12 frets to the body - I've had two over the years, but the newer models have another 4 frets past the join for a total of 16. Tenors have 14 to the body.

I've encountered some really sweet 1970s and 1980s Kamaka concerts over the years but never owned one. The consensus among the people I know is that the pre-2000 models tend to be hit or miss, so you'd probably want to try it in person or make sure you have the option of returning it if anything is not to your liking.

ETA: I didn't actually click the link until after I saw the posts below. Nthing the belief that it's a soprano and not a concert.

I don't think that's a concert--it looks like a soprano. No haircut headstock, and the body is squatter.

It looks like a soprano. Good deal though.
