Does anyone know if there are white fluorocarbon strings? I prefer fluorocarbon (using Worth Browns), but I like how white strings look. Thanks.

As far as I know fluorocarbons are only available in clear, black, or brown. The only white strings available are Aquila Nygut.

Ditto - to my knowledge. Clear is almost white...

weren't kala pearl white as well?

Flourocarbon can be colored. Fishing industry uses blue, green, red, flourescent yellow, etc.

C'mon, just b/c my wife and kids are my only audience doesn't mean string color doesn't matter. :)

If you've tried the Aquila Nylgut and dislike them, fair enough, bit if not, give a set a go ... they're definitely "different" to nylon. I've not used fluorocarbon strings, so I can't compare them.

:music:

Yes, my uke came with Aquila Nylgut. I didn't dislike them, but prefer flouro for brighter sound, and intonation seems more "on" when going farther up the neck.
