This is a plastic container with a PVA sponge that slips between the #2 & #3 strings. PVA sponges hold 10x more water than a common sponge. if I leave my ukulele on a stand between playing, I pop the humidifier in. It's very easy to install / remove. The case has a small ridge that keeps it secure between the strings.

Pros:
Easy to install / remove / refill.
The RH ranges between 27% and 45% in my office depending on the weather. The PVA sponge stays damp for about 10 days.
Cost is < $10 USD

Cons:
Doesn't last as long as an Oasis.

P.S.
You can also buy large 2 3/4" by 6 1/2" PVA sponges for about $3.50 USD, cut them in half and keep in a plastic soap container to humidify a large case or cabinet.

For $10 I've been looking for one of these. I use Oasis but would also like to try one on these. Thanks

I've got the Oasis and the Nomad as well. I'd say that johnny broke the pros and cons down pretty well. Does the job, needs to be refilled quite often. I don't mind doing it (and also have another small humidifier in the case because I live in Colorado) often so it works for me.
