Listening to Demetrius' cover of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" made me think I'd post this here for him and any other Pink Floyd fans.
You may have noticed a lot of songs about dogs on the "Links and Videos" board. This week's Seasons of the Ukulele challenge was to play songs about dogs. Since there's a new Season every week, the songs are learned and recorded in a matter of days -- sometimes hours. This week, in five days, I made videos of songs by Pink Floyd ("Dogs"), Procol Harum ("Every Dog Will Have His Day"), Bow Wow Wow ("Chihuahua"), and Nellie McKay ("The Dog Song").
I arranged this song and proceeded to the video in a matter of hours. I could have used more practice coordinating the singing with that particular strum. On the plus side, I got to use the Electro Harmonix Mel9 box I bought last month, which simulates Mellotron keyboard sounds.
