Been looking around for an 8-string bari. Lots of tenors available but so far nothing yet in baritone size. Please let me know if you have one or see one for sale. Thanks, Rick

Brueweiart made some 8 string baritones in the past. I have one. It has a 19" scale length. It makes a glorious sound but needs some neck work so I'm waiting for it to fully settle before working on it.

Here you go. Mele has an 8 string Baritone for sale,

I have an 8 string Mele tenor which is a lovely instrument. I know that Scott Wise has made a custom 8 string baritone for a Hawaiian gentleman.

I just bought a solid mango bari eighter by Mele.via Ebay. They also make a bari eighter in solid koa. My contact at melemaui was Cheryl. She is VERY helpful &knowledgeable. They *sometimes* make deals on the mango -- I don't know about the koa.

Kala makes a bari eighter with solid spruce sound board. ka-abp8-ctg. Sam Ash &Kraft carry them but they are both out of stock until late in May. Priced at $299. Regular price on mele's mango is $999, koa is about $1029 -- both are listed on ebay.

good hunting!!!

We (Bonanza Ukuleles) are introducing an 8 string baritone soon. Not sure which wood we will be using for the first one yet, but I suspect it will be cherry with alder top. Stay tuned.
