I have built two tenors , and one definitely barks more when strummed hard. Just wondering why. Both are redwood tops, but one has a pheasantwood body while the other is Milo. The Milo one is barkier (is that a word?)20170508_112208.jpgNV

Just a suggestion... use the Ukulele Building / Luthier's Lounge section for better response.
