This seems like a popular beginer song (probably played to death already).
It's now been a week and a half of my learning adventure and I'm taking baby steps trying to clean up strumming and chord changes or even properly fingering chords for that matter. (I'm trying hard to resist my temptation to start fingerpicking)
Today, just on a whim, I thought I'd try singing along. I found it a bit difficult to time the vocals and strumming after (kind of) figuring out the chord changes (timing/phrasing). One thing I noticed is that thus far, with any tutorial I've watched, the key doesn't match vocally for me. Is it the odd tuning of the uke? Most of these songs that I've tried playing, I can't sing to and they are songs that I normally sing without a problem. For example this song is way too low.
