Here's the latest one set to go out the door.

Client commission for a tenor made from figured Babinga and Ancient Spruce. Burl inlay to the fret board and rosette. Bindings in curly Jarrah. High gloss lacquer finish.

Does the ancient spruce sound different than the modern variety? That gray is certainly striking. And 3,000 old, quite a conversation starter!

It's more like a hardwood soundboard than Spruce.

Just beautiful! First time seeing ancient spruce so I find it quite unique and lovely.
