Hello!

I'm in the market for a nice Resonator in either concert or tenor (have had a Kala, ready for higher quality, thanks). I was thinking Donmo or maybe a Mya Moe if I can find the right one, but I'm open to others too.

Any advice is welcome, and if you have a quality piece you've been considering passing along, all the better.

Thanks!

John Morton of Morton instruments makes great resonators.http://www.jmorton.us

National makes some gorgeous looking and sounding resonators, but they're not cheap. Gretsch G9112 Resonator is a concert size for $259 from Sweetwater...

I have a rather unique National Resonator that I toy with selling until I pull it out and play it. It's this very uke:

I upgraded to Goto UPT's (gold of course) after I got it. If it's potentially of interest, PM me and I'll noodle it. I'll be upfront and say I'd only sell it for what I have in it.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. And that's a beauty, Eddie. I don't know if I can throw that much down right now, which is why I was thinking Donmo (I've seen a few listed on here in the past for prices more in my ballpark).

As far as the Gretsch, like I said I've had the Kala Resonator for the past couple years, so I feel I'm ready to move up to the next level and I don't think the Gretsch would really get me there.

But really appreciate the feedback, hope more's a' comin!
