Things don't look right

Since I had the operation on my right eye I have been experiencing a strange effect things are not looking in line I just fitted a nut this morning and it just dosn't look straight with my eyes it appears to be approx: 2 mm out of parallel to the first fret but when I measure it with the ruler it's spot on .. I had an eye test recently and was found to now have excellent sight..Maybe It could be something to do with the grain pattern in the wood giving me octipus illusions.

Most likely your brain's been compensating for an error in your sight for a long time. Now that the error is gone, it's overcorrecting. Odds are it will eventually stop. If it's been months already, though, I'd definitely talk to my doctor about it.
