Dirty Maple Fretboard

We'e considering a satin finish maple fretboard on a Bruko uke. Is this likely to show dirt from fingers due to the lighter color?

I don't have a light colored fretboard, but wanted to mention that I use a cleaner/conditioner on my fretboard whenever I change strings. [I use Boogie Juice which comes in a convenient marker-style applicator even though I know it would be far more economical to buy conditioner/cleaner in a volume container.] If you do that, you should be fine.
