Introducing......the Uke hanger!

Recently, on Gizmodo.com I came across "the Guitar Hanger", http://www.theguitarhanger.com/, basically a mounting system that allows you to hang your guitar like a shirt. Great idea, one problem, doesn't look like it will work for ukes. I managed to put together a"Uke hanger" with $1 tool hangers and a $4 7/8 inch x 4ft wooden pole.

I took the picture with a camera phone, so I apologize for the quality.

Hmmm. Your pic has vanished.

My solution is a $2 package of rubber-wrapped tool handles bought at the local dollar store. These fit things like hammers, so a uke neck is cozy in them. A simple elastic band holds the neck in place.

Ah, finally! It looks cool. It was actually worth the wait. I didn't expect it to be in your closet. I expected it to be on the wall.

Thanks, I actually do have wall mounting system made with the same tool hangers and a piece of scrap wood.
