Here's a pic of my sopranos. Left to right are 50's gold label Kamaka, early 40's Favilla U2, Kiwaya KTS-4, Famous FS-5 (lam koa) and Famous FS-0 (thinline lam mahogany). I'm liking the Favilla alot right now, and the thinline FS-0 is very cool, a great sound for such a small package. Now to decide which to keep  It's really fun to have them all out and compare, and rather amazing how different they can sound, each with its own particular voice.

You have a mighty fine little family there! :)

Enjoy them! :music:

I am sorry you have to choose.

Looks good.

Of course, even if they didn't, I wouldn't want to insult the Soprano family...

Tough problem to have!

Lovely collection there!
Did you see Baz's article on his Got a Ukulele site about Sopranos not getting any love?

I fall into that category because I don't find the scale comfortable, but I do have long necks, so it's not really that I don't like sopranos, just the scale. ;)

Have you ever tried a soprano with a 1.5" neck? It makes a WORLD of difference! I just got my first one and it is as easy to play as my concerts. The stretch is obviously different, but the comfort on the fretboard is there.
