This the third of my collection that I'm putting up for sale and the one that I am most uncertain about letting go. I can't seem to add any more images so if you are interested, send me a PM with your email address and I will send some photos.

Pohaku Tenor Resonator Ukulele - Sold

I purchased this uke from the original owner May 2016. He bought it from a California dealer in 2008 where it was on consignment from the builder, Peter Hurney of Berekley, California. The back, sides, top and neck are made of Western Big Leaf Maple; the fingerboard is ebony with inlayed position markers and matching side dots. The spider bridge is of Peter’s design and is covered by his signature deco influenced ABS cover. Currently strung low G with Aquila Nylgut.

A nice tweed case by Eddie Finn is included that really fits the character of the uke. There is small stain on the side (probably manufacturer’s glue) between the handle and the upper latch – the original owner provide a cloth Pohaku patch that could cover the stain, but I never bothered.

I know I am going to regret letting this one go. I love Peter’s work and have a tenor and concert of his that are not going anywhere.
