Hola uke fans.
I have a David Gill built tenor Id like to see in the right hands. I'm not playing it more than a couple times a year. It needs to be with someone who can truly appreciate it.
This work of art features a book matched white cedar top, mahogany sides, bak, and neck.
Also included is a case, humidifier, and new low G string. Currently the uke is set up for high G.
This is the best playing uke I've ever strummed. The action is buttery. The uke is set up beautifully. Everyone that's ever picked it up and tried it has commented on the feel.
The tone is clear and chimey.
There are a few marks near the bottom that were present when I bought this new from the music shop in Wheaton, Il. There is one nick on the downside edge near the sound hole. It's tiny and pictured with a dime to show perspective of size.
Not sure what else to say. A serious buyer will have questions and probably need more pix. This is also on EBay and I'm a very trusted seller there.
I have this listed on EBay at $1000 or best offer. Frankly I don't know if that's stupid high, spot on, or a deal. David passed so that does put this in a group of instruments that won't be made again.
For UU members I will say $850 obo. Don't be shy. Lowball offers are met with a smile and a polite, "sorry but no".
