FS - Ohana TK42 tenor. All solid. Sinker Redwood top, Rosewood back & sides. UK sale.

I bought this ukulele less than 18 months ago from Omega Music in the UK. It is a limited edition, all-solid wood model made from Oregon Sinker Redwood (top), Rosewood (back, sides and fingerboard), Mahogany (neck) and Maple (binding). It is beautiful and in MINT virtually un-played condition. Honestly, if you bought this brand new from a specialist shop it could not be in a more pristine condition.

More information can be found here:

About nine months ago I had a professional luthier install a top quality Fishman AG passive ukulele pickup as I did not want any electronics inside the instrument.

It is currently strung Low G with Worth strings and I think the slightly smaller bodies of Ohana tenors handle the low G string better than the more boom-prone larger bodies of other brands. But it also sounds great strung re-entrant Bb.

The price is £330 which includes a £110 pickup and a £40 pickup installation cost so the actual instrument is effectively priced at £180 which is an absolute steal.

I am thinning my ukulele collection down due to a house move and an increased focus on guitar. I am also selling a Kala KA-ASOV-T tenor on here with the same pickup. I want to keep either the TK42 or the KA-ASOV-T so I shall pull the other listing when one of them sells.

Two glowing references from two recent sales are here ....

I would much prefer to sell to the UK and selling to North America is definitely out due to crazy shipping costs. Continental Europe might be a possibility.

Thanks for looking.

Ernie

I have just purchased a distinctive, loud and very cool Deering Banjo Concert Uke from this seller.

This is the second Uke that I have bought from 'Ernie' and once again his accurate description, fast and secure posting, excellent packaging and good communications made him a delight to trade with.

If you are in the market for a Uke then I can confirm he is an honest and honourable person and gets my wholehearted endorsement.

Regards
Dave

Price reduced to £360. A real bargain for someone.

I will pull this listing if my Kala KA ASOV T listing sells first as I want to keep one of these two instruments and I will be governed by whichever sells first.

Thanks for looking.

Over the last few months I have been successful in selling eight of my ukes through either this website or eBay. All buyers have been delighted with their purchases.

This is my last uke for sale. Originally I was intending to keep this instrument once I sold my Kala ASOV T but now I have decided to sell it in addition to the Kala which sold earlier this week.

I have reduced the price to £350 which comprises £150 for the pickup and installation and £200 for the instrument in unplayed condition. It is a steal.

Bump. Nine ukes sold, just this one to go. Price reduced to £330. Especially nice strung low G due to its slightly smaller and thus less boomy body. A beautiful instrument in as new, hardly played condition.

Sold. That’s my uke selling done. Ten sold here or on eBay over the last eight months.
