I had this ukulele made this past summer directly from Kanilea. Picked the Koa myself! Spruce top, hand picked curly Koa back and sides, ebony faceplate, fretboard and bridge, Koa rosette, black binding, Kailua beach sand logo and fret markers. Strung with Aldrine Guerrero AGxAQ strings. Kanilea passive pickup and strap button installed at Kanilea when it was built. Upgraded Kala tweed hardshell case. This is a georgeous and fantastic playing ukulele. The ONLY reason I’m selling is I just can’t get used to the wider 1 1/2” Kanilea neck. So I’m playing my Kamaka instead.
