SOLD!!For sale is a beautiful Custom Southern Cross Concert Banjo Ukulele by New Zealand luthier Dennis O'Neil. Block construction with New Zealand lightly colored Kaihikatea, rich dark brown River Totara (hundreds of years old from river bottom) and Purple Heart headstock, fretboard and accents. Top quality Rikards Banjo Hardware, an 8 inch Remo skin and an open back pot. I took this in a trade from another UU member last spring, but I'm not a banjo-uke player. It is in as new condition and has been very lightly played. Recently restrung with Aquila New Nylguts (as recommended by Dennis) and comes with a high-end Kala black leather banjo concert ukulele hard case. A Hall 3-way Banjo key is also included. SOLD.

This is a really nice custom banjo ukulele......I am open to reasonable offers.

I tried to send you a private message, but your inbox is full. It looks very nice. I'm curious. What is the nut width? Also, have you ever tried it with a low G? I'm trying to find a concert banjo uke where the wound Low G doesn't buz.

Sorry about that............inbox should be clear now. The nut is 1 7/16. I've never tried it low G, but I don't think there would be a buzz problem.

Glad to see this one sold Steve. It looks nice....

Thanks Lenny. Dennis builds some wonderful ukuleles. The unusual woods (unusual for us North Americans!), and the block construction are really eye popping.
