Cavaquinho banjos?

Anyone know if you can convert them into uke tuning?

DGBE to GCEA, maybe? hehe, steel strings might be too mucho tension, but if you go nylon then you can have a field day. Thats a sweet looking banjolele, is that a pick up on the side? pretty killer. off to youtube to see how she sounds.

I would say, that it would probably work. I have a banjo-uke that I string GCEA with steel mandolin strings.
