Gonna try this one, which was in the Marketplace here, and has been owned by some other UUers. The original damaged top was replaced with spruce by master luthier Joel Eckhaus of Earnest Instruments up in Maine, so I'm confident of a quality job. I like the look, and the sound in the recording, and hope it's similar in person, fingers crossed. Something different for sure.

Let us know how it is once you get it. It sounds like a really lively, spunky little instrument.

This one arrived today, thanks Zach! Strung it up with a lightly used set of Worth Browns, and it's a very sweet sounding uke. I haven't had much time yet to really play it hard, but sounds loud and rich, great fingerpicked or strummed. The wooden pegs were replaced with black Gotoh UPTs, which are a pleasure to use, love em. And, I gotta say, UPS is getting it done! Shipped last evening, here by 3:30pm today, NJ to MA!
