So this is fun...I was just looking what guitar shops I should hit while in San Diego for a week in early April (I live in metro Detroit), and I stumbled on the Buffalo Brothers/Old Time Music websites...and they have Herb Ohta, Jr. doing one-on-one lessons there on the 8th and 9th, so I called left a message, and the organizer called back and fit me in on the 8th. He even asked me to send him an email with any stuff I wanted to work on with Herb. Pretty neat. I scheduled back-to-back sessions, so I could have a little longer...how many chances will I have (being from Detroit) to get a lesson from a uke master like him? Stoked, for sure.

awesome! how much does this cost?

For a double lesson, just about 2 hours, it'll be about a hundred bucks. Pretty standard for a limited engagement lesson with a typical "name" artist like Herb. I have seen guys pay 200 for an hour with some of the better known guitar gods.
