So I just purchased a new Kanile’a K-1 6-string tenor. I am very pleased with it; my only issue is that they sent it in a case for a baritone ukulele. They used bubble wrap to fill some of the empty space around the body, but it is simply too big to use long term.

The problem seem to be the extra length in the head stock, as the total length is 28”, and all the tenor cases I’ve looked at online are 26 or 27”. I don’t have a music shop near me with a selection of cases to try for fit, so ordering online is my only option, alas.

Any suggestions for a tenor case with a long enough interior?

The older version (a couple years ago) Oahu tenor cases fit.
You call also the folks at HMS to see if they have one that fits it.

I have a new Oahu case for my five-string Compass Rose, and it has room to spare.
If Joe at Kanile'a does not have one, HMS will.
