Regretfully, I am selling my one-of-a-kind custom designed Kanile’a tenor ukulele. I ordered it from Joe Souza in August of last year and received it in October. It is in as close to mint condition as is possible, though with gentle playing the sound has already started to open up beautifully over the past few months. It is a unique and delightful instrument. I hate to sell it, but financial circumstances have recently changed and I need the funds. Newly reduced price $2,800 OBO.

The specs for this ukulele are as follows:

- Master grade curly koa soundboard and back and sides
- Ebony fret board, bridge and head plate
- Ebony wood front and back binding
- Ebony rosette with abalone trim
- Position markers and logo in sand
- Kanile’a crown slotted head stock
- Cosmo black Gotoh Stealth tuners
- NuBone nut and saddle
- UV High Gloss body, Satin neck finish
- Pepe Romero UT1 fluorocarbon strings
- Black leather tenor ukulele case included

That is a beautiful and unique Kanile'a Ukulele you have there.
Sorry you have to let her go, good luck with the sale!

I have had some interest in this ukulele, but it is still available. To be clear, this is not a T3 or T4, it is a one-of-a-kind ukulele that was designed by me and built with master grade materials. This is a screaming deal on this ukulele--unfortunately, I need the funds. On the Kanile'a site there is a configurator tool that allows you build a ukulele from scratch--actually kind of a fun rabbit hole to go down. You can go there to see what a comparable build would cost new (spoiler alert: a lot more).
