Yes you!

So I figured with so much talent and inventive posters here we could try out a lil sum'n sum'n.

For those who'd like to play along, here's the test run process.

1) Follow the format of the song (key, changes, etc.)
2) You can only post one line per song
3) Lyrics may only be what UU allows in regular posts (profanity, etc.)
4) Copy and paste the title and lyrics and add your lines to it.
4) When the format is finished, the song is complete and we'll start a new one.
5) Once the song is complete one (or all) of the co-writers could put a version on YouTube to see our "child" be born!

That's the basics. Let's get creative, have some fun and make some music!

Here comes the first song collaboration!

P.W.S. Song #1:

Title:

The Uke Shack

Format:

2 Verses = 4 lines
2 Chorus = 4 lines

Verse Keys:

1st person to post a song line picks primary key
3rd person to post a song line picks next key (change)

After the 4th song line the song goes back to the original key for one measure and then into the chorus.

Chorus Keys:

1st person to post the 5th song line (beginning of chorus) picks primary key
3rd person to post a song line picks next key (change)

After the 4th chorus line the song goes back to the original key for one measure and then back into the verse.

Repeat

End of song.

All together we should have 16 lines of song - 2 verses and 2 chorus.
The 2nd chorus doesn't have to be the same as the 1st but should stay within the 1st chorus guidelines.

Be creative! Have fun!!!

Down here at Uke Underground

*like that?

You also have to pick the key that the song will be played in...but yes.

Now, the next person would copy your line of lyric and add theirs:

**Example:**

Down here at Uke Underground
Flibbidy jibbidy floppybound.

and so on. :D

I guess people wouldn't like the key of E major, would they?^^
