Sticky neck.

I've been using my new KoAloha KCM-00 for the past few days, and I have noticed the neck is pretty sticky. It of course has a high gloss finish, but when compared to my cheaper ukes the neck just has a very sticky feel, and it noticeably impacts my ability to slide down the neck.

Anyone else experience this, or have any thoughts? I have a polishing cloth, clean it after playing and always ensure my hands are clean, so I am not sure what is going on.

Some (not sure if all?) Koalohas have a nitrocellulose finish, that can get sticky over time from contact with skin, sweat etc; it's not dirty, more of a chemical reaction.
A bit of green scrubby pad (or 0000 steel wool) will take off the tackiness.
