Hello, I bought a new ukulele and got it yesterday. Now I wonder, are there really Supernylgut Aquila strings on it as the sticker says?
When compared to the other nylgut strings I have on other ukes, they seem softer and more yellowish in colour too.
Does anybody please have the thickness of Supernylguts for tenor?
(There are small letters says: Mod. 45, on the sticker)

Best regards

Just so happens I keep a list of tenor string gauges.

Aquila Lava 114U Measured Actual 0.0255 0.0330 0.0390 0.0280
Aquila Supernylgut 106U Measured Actual 0.0255 0.0330 0.0400 0.0290

Thank you so much. Very strange, as I measure I find them to be: 0,60 0,90 0,80 0,60 [mm] equals 0.024 0.0354 0.0315 0.024 [inch]

Could it please be any reasonable explanation to that?

I think that the reasonable explanation is that they are not Supernylgut. That doen't mean they will sound bad.

This sticker was attached to one of the strings.
