There are two options I would heartily recommend for a Fluke or a Flea. The first is the hardwood fretboard. I have a Flea with the plastic board, and I just received a used Flea with the wooden board - big difference. Not only are the frets plainly visible, but it looks so much nicer (in my opinion.)
The second option is inexpensive and can be added at any time. For $5.00 you get two pairs of 3M stick-on strips for the back. These are practically invisible when in place, and they help to keep the uke from slipping against your shirt. They eliminate the need for a strap.
