If you buy a 6 string uke strings and you only have a 4 string uke will it still have the same effect if you buy the 4 string one??

If you tune it same as GCEA yes, its have the same efect ;D but you have wider neck..

im not sure i quite undertsand what you are asking. you want to put a set of 6 strings on a 4 string uke? you would have to leave out the High C and the Low A.
but why would you want to spend more for a 6 string set and waste 2 strings?

i dont think they would have the same effect because one is a low A and high C.

basically you would be better off buyign a 4 string.
