i dont really know anybody on this site on a real personal level (no offense, i got madd love for everyone here) so i feel a bit more comfortable in sharing this. its just been one of those days.

in the midst of a battle
between my wants & my needs
i look to my eyelids
to put my mind at ease
hardly a sanctuary
knowing that you reside
in the place that exists
only when i close my eyes
though i know i shouldnt
i insist to persist
to chase you down a street
seemingly endless
how can i end this?
somebody cease the bleeding
i've held it in for too long
my patience is misleading
my heart's BEEN on my sleeve
CAN'T YOU FEEL IT BEATING?
my cards are on the table
your pokerface, i been reading
in search of the page
written for you and i
just wish you would try
to read between the lines
but i fail to find
any reciprocation
a frail state of mind
is what im left to bathe in
waitin & waitin
im pacin the pavement
extreme frustration
im ready to cave in
as i gaze in, she runs
on my brain's equator
oblivious to, emotions
making the pain greater
maybe i SHOULD hate her?
but i continue to love her
what am i doing wrong?
i can only wonder
i can only want her
never will i have
the ability to grasp
cuz even in my dreams
slight chance, it may seem
her eyes might gleam
but i'll still finish last.

That's realy nice :)

wow, sometimes I'm still speechless because of the beauty of the English language. I tried to write a few songs too, but my lack of vocabulary makes it difficult to find fitting words (not to mention my lack of skill in poetry...)

that was really good!

dude that is awesome some people think it might be good to put it to a song but i think it might ruin the true message of the piece keep it the way it is and keep up the good work
