VERY expensive for what it is, mediocre sound. Plus, do you really need a smaller uke?

For a travel uke, consider the Flea/Fluke first. Very durable and light, and a good sound, too.

Kala also has a thin-bodied 'travel uke' on sale (check MGM's site on eBay for details).

had martin backpacker guitar.. and it was cool for like a few days.. but the sound was kind of got old.. and it was hard to hold..

i LOVE martin.. i play martin.. just not a fan of the backpacker..

i would say.. get a FLEA!! used are great... 100-150 great for the road!
