Hi, I am a newbie at Ukes, but I have built two Autoharps. I am also a custom knifemaker. www.brantonknives.com
I want to build a couple of good baritone uke kits then eventually build from scratch. Any help would be appreciated. I am still wading through all the threads.
Thanks,
Bobby

I don't know of any baritone kits. But stew-mac make a good soprano kit. you might try UK ukes

I'm not familiar with any baritone kits either.

The three kits you hear of most are:

Grizzly (http://grizzly.com/products/H3125) (Soprano) - economical
Stewart McDonald (http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Kits/Ukulele_Kits/Ukulele_Kit.html) (Soprano) - good quality
Uklectic (http://uklectic.com/ukulele_kits.html) (Soprano/Concert/Tenor/Electric) - the best

Good luck and have fun! My SM kit is almost done, and I'm hopefully going to start in on my Uklectic Tenor kit soon.
