i'm the bass player in a indie/ pop band called relay ( http://www.myspace.com/ukrelay ) and i think it would be awesome if we did a couple of songs with acoustic and a ukulele but they refuse they thinks its silly because my ukulele is pink, i told them that its an amzing little instrument but they arn't listening to me,

has anyone one got any ideas to help me out

Just start taking it along with you to jams. If you guys are just playing some music, not seriously trying to write a song, just getting together for some freestyle awesomeness, whip out the uke! Let them get used to how cool it sounds first, THEN work on 'em some more.

They're insecure about their manhood afraid of a little pink 'ukulele.
Amen, find yourself a new band. ;)
