start a new band.

good advice. finding like minded people would be easier than converting your bandmates.

Just start taking it along with you to jams. If you guys are just playing some music, not seriously trying to write a song, just getting together for some freestyle awesomeness, whip out the uke! Let them get used to how cool it sounds first, THEN work on 'em some more.

They're insecure about their manhood afraid of a little pink 'ukulele.
Amen, find yourself a new band. ;)

It's a pink ukulele, not a red door.

Probably because you played the ukulele. Crowds really seem to enjoy the uke.
