Courtesy of the excellent folk at Crossroads Music, I have taken delivery of a new Oceana baritone. (I have pictures and attempted to post as an attachment and to set up an album, but each process seemed excessively complicated and failed.) For now I would refer you to the website and say that mine is remarkably similar to the baritone pictured with serial #B102.

Construction: Perfectly finished and on par with a couple of custom guitars that I own. As you can see from the webphotos, the luthier has chosen some interesting woods. Gloss finish with a very playable neck. No flaws that I can find anywhere.

Tone: Best described as about halfway between the sound of my KoAloha tenor and my standard classical guitar. More "woody" than "jangly". Well balanced. Excellent sustain. (Fitted with Aquila strings). I am using it for a variety of fingerstyle pieces.
