Well I finally found a six string that my hand will cover so now I have three instruments to practice on everyday. On the Guitalele should I look for and use music books, instructions, etc written for the Guitelele or just play it as a standard guitar and use standard guitar tabs. What is best?

I think music companies before sending one their instrument, they search the company for the most wore out strings to put on it. Everyting else is decent for an economical instrument. So I need a new set of strings.
Please tell me what strings to purchase that produce the loudest and warmest sounds. Thannk you.

I get my strings ‘ kanilea gl6 strings ‘ at HMS

Those "Kanile'a GL-6 strings" are meant to be used on a 20" scale Guitarlele.

If the OP is talking about a Yamaha GL-1 Guitalele, that one has a 17" scale and those strings would be available from KoAloha and Aquila in addition to the others mentioned above.

Scale does make a difference... and they are not interchangeable IMO.
