Does anyone know when Kamaka stopped selling Factory seconds? Is there any markings on these factory seconds? The reason I ask is that a friend showed me her Tenor Kamaka which she remembers purchasing in 1969. It has the white label. On the inside on the neck block, it is stamped May 24 19. That’s it ...no final 2 numbers after the 19. When the ukulele is viewed from the front the shape of the upper bouts do not seem identical / symmetrical. Otherwise the ukulele sounds great as far as we can tell....Thanks Friends....
