So I am totally self-taught. I guess I'm not a 100% newb, because I can play songs, but I don't know anything in depth.
Like, what is chunking (thats what it is called, right?)???

Any special techniques?
How can I play without a pick? I've having a hard time doing that.

Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

Yeah...but I think thats why my strumming is sometimes awkward. But I can't hardly keep a strum pattern without one...but practice makes perfect, ey?
