As I make Ukuleles, teach how to make them on craft markets, I'd be interested to go abroad but on ukulele festivals, to work and for the fun of it.
Would you know about any festivals where one can sell, run a workshop ?

Maybe the MUMF (Meet the Ukulele Makers Festival) that took place for the first time in Wales this year is the right fit.

It is not primarily about selling instruments though but about sharing knowledge about ukulele making and meeting ukulele people that want more than C F G Am. ;)

More Info: http://www.mumf.co.uk

And here's a little video from this year's blast ;)

The U.K. Great Northern Ukulele Festival does, as far as I know, have trade stalls. However, I’d have thought that the time and costs involved (both travel and to the event organisers) would be far too much to make it worthwhile. Like you Ukeval (Valéry Sauvage) lives in France and maybe a private message to him might result in some helpful messages back. Wilfried Welti (https://www.ukulele-arts.com/?lang=en) is also a member from Germany who might make some Continental suggestions.

Every year in the last weekend of July, there is the Czech Ukulele festival:http://ukulelefestival.cz/domains/ukulelefestival.cz/index.php/home

Which is always terrific!

The same organizer, Ben (who is from the UK originally) is also planning a festival in Italy in May.

This coming October, there is also the third Berlin festival; http://berliner-ukulele-festival.de/en/
but I'm not sure they would still have room.

There is a festival in Caldogno, Italy, every 2 years; the next one in 2020.

There used to be a festival in Paris in spring, but I think that stopped last year.

In Belgium, throughout the year, there are several one-day events; I tend to hear about those too late.
You could try contacting Ukulelezaza (via his Etsy store might be the easiest way), he tends to be involved, or at least know about those.

Got a Ukulele has a big list every year, as well: https://www.gotaukulele.com/p/ukulele-festival-calendar_11.html
