After building 6 concert ukuleles, I have now completed a tenor. This tenor has a walnut body with a sitka spruce top, spanish cedar neck, and rosewood finger board. I also installed a pre amp/tuner, which works very well.
The G is doubled an octave apart. To my ear, is has a mellow sound, probably due to the low G. However, the other strings are very clear. The volume is greater than the concerts. Intonation is very good.
