For sale: Kinnard Honduran Mahogany, Series 1 baritone uke with hard case. This is a beautiful example of John Kinnard’s precision work. While this is a used instrument it is in excellent condition, with just some shiny spots on the satin finish (in the usual locations: upper right bout, lower left bout, neck). There are no dings or dents, just a small flea bite on the headstock lower edge and a glue-in/water mark on the label. Please see photo album for more photos than attached.

I purchased this instrument on this forum earlier this year. I’m selling it as I have a few high end baritones, and need to keep my number of ukes in check.
The 19” scale and design of this instrument lend to sounding best with higher tension strings. This is usually accomplished with thicker strings or stepped up tuning. The sound is clear, articulate, and very even. The 19" scale length sounds very good tuned Bb, reentrant tuning with SouthCoast Mediums:
