I have an old Gretsch ukulele from when I was a kid. It's time for me to pass it on so that it can be properly used by someone who will enjoy it.
The information I've received is that this appears to be a late 1940's model. It has a natural mahogany fretboard. There is some minor cracking on the front and a few dings on the back, but rather than attempt to fully restore this myself I will leave that to the discretion of the next owner. Similarly, there are not currently any strings so you can go with your own preference on that.
Pictures are attached. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I'm asking $150 including shipping with the continental US. Message me for shipping elsewhere.
I'd like to see this to go an enthusiast home that will appreciate it, but if not I will send it to auction. I'm also happy to do the transaction itself on eBay if the buyer prefers the security of that platform (I have 100% feedback and can create a private listing for the item), but I would ask for a small additional premium to cover the fees associated with doing the transaction there.
I will attach more photos below.
Thanks,
JQP
