I always get a kick out of seeing someone say they want a particular brand of ukulele "at a good price." Who doesn't? Why would someone sell anything at below market value? Any such item would sell very fast.

Hahaha, I've never picked up on that but it's such a good point - the alternative would be "Hey, I'd like to buy XXX ukulele and I'm really looking to get ripped off on the price."

That's where online comparison shopping comes into it. : )

Haggling is part of many negotiations and it seems that's what those posters are doing. The only difference is that they're starting the negotiations ahead of the seller.
