Just finished this very plain tenor ukulele that I made from recycled house deck redwood and miscellaneous left over unused parts from past shop projects. Redwood top, back, and sides. I never get to do anything without binding, inlay, or a complicated lacquer finish, so this was a fun project. I made it for our annual Big Island Ukulele Guild show that starts today and runs through the end of October.

I'll bet it sounds and plays just as good as any others built in exotic tonewood :)

Post sound samples? I want to hear what an all-redwood ukulele sounds like!

This gives me a whole new out look on some old decking I have in the back yard. Also I'm curious about the neck is there some carbon fiber set into it?
