Just got these to replace a set of Aquilla dGBE.

I liked the Aquilla set, as always, but FC is what I LOVE.

This Living Waters custom set doesn't not disappoint.

This is a magic set with low tension and big sound.

Thanks for posting your results and I am glad you liked them. Luis of LfdM is building a tenor for a customer who wants it strung and tuned dGBE and I told him to use the same Living Water strings you just posted about. Thank you

Does the package say what gauges he used? I’ve been cobbling together my own dGBE tenor sets out of Worth Browns. I’m curious to compare what I’ve done against someone who actually knows what they’re doing! :)

Thanks!

If you look at the site: http://www.kenmiddleton.co.uk/living-water-strings/
The GBE are almost certainly the low G strings, so .91,.74,.66
I'm not sure about the 'd'. Ideally it would be slightly thicker than the .66 but it could be the same string

Oh, but it is dicey comparing fluorocarbon gauges between brands as they vary depending on the specific density of the compound used.
