For sale is a 2 month old Mele Pineapple Mahogany uke. From Mele's site: Handmade from top-quality aged mahogany, with ebony fingerboard, bridge, nut and binding. Grover tuners, Hilo strings, and a richer, fuller tone than many ukes costing three times as much. Options (pineapple shape). I have replaced the strings with brown Worth's. They are right in their description - this uke is has a very full tone, much more than my other sopranos. It is also very light - simalar to a Kiwaya in weight. The reason I am selling is because my thumb cannot get used to the thin neck. It does have a nice wide fretboard and plays very nicely. Action and intonation are good also. It comes with a cheap nylon bag case. As you can see there are a few small nicks behind the bridge, otherwise the uke is in excellent condition - it is nearly new. Price is $150 shipped in the continental US.
