My first time singing in public for decades

I just found this video I had completely forgotten about.

Many, MANY years ago, on holiday in Cyprus, my daughter kept on and on at me to sing karaoke with her. I was sitting peacefully sipping my LARGE single malt scotch becoming more mellow by the minute, but she kept on and on; so in the end I thought I’d just get up, do one song of HER choosing with her, have fun with it, and then get back to my whisky.

I actually got more of a buzz from it than I expected and it was one of the moments that got me picking up my guitars again and inflicting punishment on people’s ears right up to this day - whether they want me to or not!!

She never asked me to sing with her again...lol

That was great, really enjoyable! Too bad there aren’t any more of these singing-with-your-daughter gems in your collection. You clearly have a knack for duets!

Haha! Thanks mate. I have lots of me karaoke-ing, but for some reason she won't duet with me any more!! lol

Maybe a family trip back to Cyprus and some single malt would change her mind haha!!

HaHa! Only if I was paying for the whole blooming trip mate!! X
