I don't want to repeat what has been said on other forums, but we have lost a great, talented and supportive member of the ukulele community. And a Canadian, too!

John Kavanagh passed away today. I can't begin to express my sadness over this news.

I don't think John participated here at UU so many of you may not know him. He was a wonderful person with a great passion for music and was very gracious with his time and knowledge when helping others with his insightful posts on the various forums.

John will surely be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to him, his family and friends.
 
Condolences to his family. John Kavangh was a great help to the ukulele community as well as a great player. RIP.
